It's a long story. Several years ago my property taxes got paid twice. They have been trying to figure out how that happened for two years. Yesterday, FedEx delivered a check to me for a refund for tax overpayment.
It wasn't miracle money per se. But it was totally unexpected. And I am grateful that I obeyed God during conference to give a particular amount of money in the offering. I believe my obedience in giving triggered the county tax authority to be able to finally get this money back to me!
I find that obeying God is both general and specific. We do what the Bible tells us to do. We also obey the Holy Spirit to do or say specific things. I find that when the Spirit moves us there is a confidence and peace that allows us to follow God's lead.
It was nice to get a small windfall. I didn't have any pressing needs. It was property tax refund so I can save it to pay my property taxes. But I want to give God the glory for this blessing on me!
