I have decided that everything that you watch on social media is fake. It is staged, with actors playing roles. Whether on You Tube or on Instagram or on any social media platform. It doesn't have to be AI to be fake.
I grew up on television. Everything you watch on tv is staged or fake. Even real life events take on an air of being not real when broadcast on television. Film is the same. It is all fiction, even if it is based on a true story.
When we watch video on social media we are watching content from the darkened imagination of sinners who, while not deliberately trying to deceive us, often do just that.
No one in real life behaves like the fiction we watch does. No one is that cruel or insensitive. No one is that pretty or handsome.
So the question is, can you discern between true and false, between real and fake? Is the content you are watching making you want things that you ought not have, or is it making you draw closer to the Lord Jesus?
