A thought came to me today about headship. That God, who created us as social beings, designed us to thrive under a covering of headship. In all of creation blessing flow down, not up. And it is plain that the need for headship is common to all people.
"It is like the precious oil upon the head, running down on the beard, the beard of Aaron, running down on the edge of his garments." Psalm 133:2
This idea of headship is found in all of life. In the home, in business, in school, and in our church. There are those in charge who make decisions and who give direction and there are those who do the work and who follow those in charge.
So to make life simple and to live a blessed life, allow those in charge to be in charge over you.
