What is gravity? What is light? Where did we come from? These are unanswerable questions that scientists have come up with ways to explain even though they do not understand it. The problem is the mystery of God. God said let there be light and there was light. The Bible never tells us about gravity. Adam is where we all come from. Faith takes God at His word. Science comes up with crazy ideas to explain the natural world. All honest science leads to God. It is dishonest to say that Newton or Einstein are smarter than God.
Light has no mass and doesn't move. Gravity is not the unseen hand pulling things. These are fundamental forces of nature that God put in place to make everything work for our benefit.
Science is practiced by those who do not like to retain God in there knowledge. We know what God does to people like that.
"And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a debased mind, to do those things that are not fitting; being filled with all unrighteousness, sexual immorality, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder, strife, deceit, evil-mindedness;" Rom.1:28-29
This is why the first word of the Gospel is repent.
To claim “science is practiced by those who do not like to retain God in their knowledge” is plainly wrong, just as saying light does not move. It absolutely does, at about 300,000 km/sec in a vacuum.

Historically many great scientists were believers. Newton himself was a theologian who wrote more on theology and religion than physics and mathematics combined. Gregor Mendel was a monk and Georges Lemaitre, who proposed the Big Bang theory, was both a priest with deep faith and a scientist.
It is also dangerous to make these claims and link it to Romans 1 because it implies that scientists as a class are morally corrupt — “debased,” wicked, deceitful, or evil-minded. You have turned a theological text into a blanket condemnation of millions of people, including many believers whose scientific work benefits humanity through the whole gamut of professional disciplines.
Romans 1 is discussing humanity’s moral and spiritual condition in relation to idolatry and rejection of God — not the practice of chemistry, physics, medicine or astronomy. There is no justification at all for applying this scripture to every scientist, there is simply no basis and a huge stretch.
But we do have an irony here. The same scientific method being condemned is what produced such advancements as antibiotics, clean water systems, aviation, modern communications and medical imaging. The people who reject “science” still trust it every day when going about their ordinary lives. You have previously acknowledged the role modern medicine has played in your own health.
