We all know the 10 commandments. Some of us could recite them from memory. I revisited them this morning. Here is what I was thinking. Of the 10, 8 are things not to do. Only 2 are things we are encouraged to do. Honor the Lord's day. Honor your parents.
Evidently people have more trouble staying out of trouble than for doing right.
"Remember the sabbath day, to keep it holy." Exodus 20:8
"Honor your father and your mother. that your days may be long upon the land which the Lord your God is giving you." Exodus 20:12
