The Fabric Of Life

A couple of years ago I paid a visit to my old friends in the Prescott church. When I left to come back home, I thought at the time that was my last visit to Arizona. But my how times have changed. Tomorrow I will be flying back to Arizona to spend a couple of days with my old friends. It will be fun to see them again, even though I have kept in contact with them since I moved.

It will be a short visit, and I will be home again before you know it. But It will be good to get away from the day by day routine I have established here. It will be good to have friends to ride with. It will be good to visit my old church again.

There is an old campfire song that I learned as a boy. Make new friends, but keep the old. One is silver and the other gold. I am grateful to have friends who I have now, and I am grateful for friends that I have know for many years. Together, they make up the fabric of my life.
