Last night at the end of the service one of our pastors prayed for me. Immediately I felt a dark cloud of despair lift off of me. I felt in my body that something had changed. Today I fell happy and joyful and at peace.
This is just one more reason why we go to church. This is another reason why our local church is better than some mega church with a celebrity pastor. We have pastors who can actually pray for us with grace and power.
Today is a new day.
"In righteousness you shall be established: you shall be far from oppression; for you shall not fear: and from terror; for it shall not come near you." Isaiah 54:14
The Gospel is good news, not just to the world, but to me!
