"When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and through the rivers, they shall not overflow you. When you walk through the fire, you shall not be burned, nor shall the flame scorch you." Isaiah 43:2
Tonight, our pastor preached a very strong and encouraging message from this text. Is.43:1-4
First, there will be trouble in life. You will pass through floods and fires. Being saved does not exempt us from troubles from people or devils or ourselves.
Second, there is help when the blitz is coming at you. You may think that it is over or that all hope is lost. But if you are still alive and if you have any glimmer of hope and faith, you will make it through everything. Jesus promised never to leave or forsake us no matter what.
Third, there is always the God factor in life. Crisis in Chinese is a dangerous opportunity. When the blitz is on, there are weaknesses to exploit if we can only see them. God can help us and open to us opportunities as long as we do not lose heart. We need to see beyond our current difficulties.
I do not intend to share exactly what a pastor preaches. But this is how it ministered to me tonight. This is what I brought home with me.
